Imran Khan to team up with Shruti Haasan again after 'Luck' ?

Shruti Haasan made her Bollywood debut with Luck which featured Imran Khan in the lead. While her first outing with Khan turned out to be a dud, we hear the two are coming together for yet another film. And this one is the Hindi remake of critically acclaimed Tamil flick Kalyana Samayal Saadham. What’s more is that with this film the talented director Aanand L Rai will be turning producer. Yes, the romantic comedy is going to be his first production venture.

But if Rai isn’t directing then who will? Well, RS Prasanna, who directed the original, will helm the Hindi remake as well. While there has been no official announcement regarding the project, it is being said that the film will go on floors at the end of this year and is likely to hit the screens next year in May.

Shruti, who is currently riding high on the success of her last release Gabbar Is Back, recently completed shooting for Vijay starrer Puli. The fantasy drama also stars veteran actress Sridevi. As for Imran, well, the B-town hunk will be seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in Katti Batti which is slated to hit the theatres on September 18 this year.
